Soon after the release of Google Camera in the year 2016, Google changed how things used to work in the world of smartphone photography. Earlier, users were more inclined to the way Samsung used to improve smartphone photography. Samsung used to invest a lot in improving camera hardware, you might have heard of the Galaxy which used to change the aperture.
Apparently, Google proved that there is no need of bringing complete camera hardware to the smartphone. And Google just on the basis of powerful coding created a smart machine learning which enhances photos on its own and makes the best use of even an average camera sensor.
Well, Google Camera is not available for all Android smartphones, it’s exclusive to Google Pixel devices. But, there are several ways by which you can manage to use GCam on your device. Stay tuned, we will be mentioning the guide to use Gcam on your device. Moreover, we will be including the links for the best Gcam for Nokia X10 here.
Google camera features:
Before we dive deeper into explaining how to install and use the Google Camera on your device, we would like to take your time. As here we will be mentioning our favorite features of Google Camera and we hope you will find them interesting too.
Well, the first will be the Night Sight. It is known as Night Mode these days. Both are the same, other OEMs copied the concept of Night Sight and released it as Night Mode for their smartphones. Talking about the feature, the Night Sight mode lets the user capture more details, sharpness whilst in a low light condition. And all of that without using any different camera sensor. All on the basis of strong machine learning and AI.
Our second favorite feature is the Astrophotography mode. This particular mode rolled out later with another version of Google Camera. This particular mode takes the Night Sight mode to the next level with advanced machine learning and AI-based filters. You will be able to capture the night sky like never before using this mode in Gcam.

Google Camera Nokia X10 –
Marc Levoy may have left Google to continue his journey with other MNC, but he and his incredible team has given a precious gem to the California tech giant. Well, Gcam was one of the reasons for Google’s new flagship popularity.
Pixel devices never offered anything special in the device design, that’s why Pixel range found it hard to cope up with the competitors like Samsung and Apple. But, Pixel indeed created a large impact on the users as well as the whole smartphone industry. Generally, the OEMs follow the pathway of the renowned smartphone maker – Apple. And it was the first time, Apple had to follow Google’s pathway.
But, the hard part is, unlike other Android apps, Google Camera cannot be simply downloaded from the Play Store. Moreover, there is no way of downloading the Gcam app on any Android device, from anywhere.
That’s why tech enthusiasts and developers decided to create a modded app of the Gcam. These modded apps won’t replicate the function of the original Google Camera feature, but will definitely allow you to experience the Gcam a bit.
And to use the Gcam mod app on your device, you will have to find an appropriate Gcam app for your device first. This could be a very hectic task, but no need to worry, we will help you out with this task.
